Techvibes, the leading digital destination for technology, digital culture, and modern lifestyle content, recently released the finalists of its 7th Annual Canadian Innovation Awards.

7th Annual Canadian Innovation Awards

Many contributing factors such as our unwavering stride for improvement with continuous platform updates and new features have been pointed out. However the most outstanding is Lightspeed’s venture capital deal for $207 million of funding in October 2017, the biggest in Canadian Tech history.

Lightspeed has grown exponentially over the years, but 2017 was most definitely a game changer. Just this past year, our client count almost doubled and we now proudly serve nearly 50,000 independent retailers and restaurateurs in over 100 different countries. Our clients process over $15 billion USD in transactions every year and our team has expanded to nearly 600 employees in several offices worldwide.

As always, we are committed to providing independent retailers and restaurateurs with the best tools to run and grow their business. The Lightspeed team is proud to have achieved this recognition in the Retail & Hospitality category, and is excited for the incredible achievements and innovations 2018 will bring.

We’re counting on you!
